We do not develop specific drivers for hardware redirection and use standard feature from windows.
You need to install the exact same version of device drivers on client side and server side.
This means if your server is installed with 2012 x64 but your client computers are installed with Windows XP x32, you will need to add manually these drivers on your server by editing the print server properties and add x32 drivers for XP.
Regarding USB devices you need to use a generated connection client and check all boxes in the local resources tab of the client generator.
More information about this can be found here : https://docs.dl-files.com/tsplus/portable-client-generator
For best results, it is also recommended not to use USB devices but prefer COM or LPT devices.
If you are using USB devices, make sure you updated the RDP protocol of your client computer to 6 or above to ensure maximum compatibility with redirected devices.
Using standard redirection can be tricky, because many prerequisites must be met in order for it to work.
For example, printer redirection is not supported with the use of HTML5 and the TSplus Mobile App.
- You need to generate a RDP client, as remote app does not support com port redirection.
- Local scanners are very likely to be not supported by device redirection as they use a specific driver for scanning. Unless you can use a network scanner or find a procedure from your scanner manufacturer for installing this device in RDS environment this will not be supported.

IMPORTANT
Attached mouse devices (per blue-tooth etc.) are not supported on mobile devices Android/iOS etc. by html5 client.
